Men’s clothing store Fugitive Apparel Co. has opened in Des Moines’ East Village.The shop at 312 E. Sixth St. Now carries 8and9 Clothing.

Owner Zach Holtman said he is selling men’s clothing, shoes and accessories. Holtman, who is originally from West Des Moines, lived in the Minneapolis area after getting a degree in civil engineering. He always wanted to open a clothing shop and returned to Des Moines where building rents are more affordable, he said.

Noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The shop is closed on Mondays.
