Disney has teamed up with Vans Vault to bring us the “Mickey Mouse” Sk8 Hi. For this collab the choice to use the Sk8 Hi silhouette was a good one especially for the all over print Mickey design they used on the Sk8 Hi upper, the Sk8 High is in a sense the perfect canvass for such a project do to the simplicity and flatness of the upper. The color scheme was also choice,using red for the lace eyelet panel, heel strip and toe box contrast the cream upper perfect, along with white laces and a classic white Vans sole kept the sneaker classic, and when your working on a sneaker with a classic icon like Mickey Mouse classic is key.
