Mission Motorcycles president Mark Seeger intends to do for electric bikes what Tesla did for electric cars, called the Mission RS (RS for “Race Special”), the bike is being labeled as the highest performing street-legal electric vehicle ever made. “We want this to be the best of the best,” Seeger told Wired. “Something really exclusive.” The RS is powered by the company’s InfiniteDrive powertrain that delivers over 160hp, a sub 3-second 0-60 time, a top speed of 150 mph, and a range of 140 miles. Further enhancements include Ohlins FGRT forks, BST carbon fiber wheels, and a 7-inch, internet-connected touchscreen that offers turn-by-turn directions, an integrated HD camera with telemetry overlay, wireless HUD integration and much more. The bike won’t be cheap: $59,999 — $56,499 USD, only 40 available. via HS
