October is breast cancer awareness month. Stores, networks, businesses and social media pages around the globe are going pink for October! It’s a great way of spreading the word about breast cancer. Donations, volunteering and even just your voice are many ways you can become a big help in the research in finding the cure. Even restaurants in Miami are showing support. At Daniel Boulud’s db Bistro Moderne Miami chefs have created a pink dessert in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The dessert is a frozen macaroon featuring an icy pink center made of lemon curd, guanabana and raspberry sorbet framed between two pink macaroon cookies. The restaurant will donate a portion of proceeds from the dessert sold in October 2012 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Here are some upcoming events in Miami where you can show your Pink support.
