8and9 Eats: Red Brick Brewery Co. Atlanta
While in Atlanta we decided to stop by a popular place for something different from the norm concerning the city. Sure Atlanta has a reputation for good soul food spots, nice lounges, and clubs like Magic City but we were in the mood for a good brew. Enter Red Brick Brewing Company, which happens to be the oldest brewing company in the state, how old? 1994, which is pretty young still. On tap is about 12 different beers, the environment, eclectic. There's comedy night, live music, ping pong tables, and a dude with a smoker outside cooking up turkey wings.
The staff, some of the friendliest people you'll encounter and it's purely genuine. Looking at the walls you can see one in particular that holds medals of the company's achievements of their product. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals from the Carolina's Beer Championships. Here's a little fact, one of the machines was actually shipped from England, refurbished, and restored to create a different type of beer. Looking for something different to do? Check this place out, grab some food, taste some suds, and leave with a souvenir glass.
