This summer will celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In Honor of that nike will be releasing some Olympic retros.

Nike Air Force 180 “Olympic”

Charles Barkley declared that he was not a role model in his Nike commercial, but that did nothing to keep the sneakers he wore throughout his NBA career from becoming iconic. From the Air Force 180 to the Air Max2 CB 94, Barkley’s footwear helped create a lasting legacy as significant as his talent. Barkley’s popularity is evidenced in the decades of many retro releases.

First spotted on the feet of Barkley's during the unbeaten 1992 Dream Team and again for the 1996 Olympic team, charles would go on to have a perfect 16-0 career Olympic record while playing in the Nike Air Force 180 “Olympic” and some of his other iconic shoes.

Last retrod in 2012, the Nike Air Force 180 “Olympic” originally released back in 1992 The Nike Air Force 180 “Olympic” is set to release on July 7th, 2016 at Nike Sportswear retailers across the globe.

Nike Air More Uptempo Olympic 2016

Twenty years ago, Team USA took home the gold at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. the ’96 squad (which was refered to as the Dream Team 2) saw some of the greatest NBA players ever such as Scottie Pippen, Shaquille O’neal, and and Penny Hardaway leading the team. These Uptempo were Pippens Signature shoe. Nike will release these shoes later this Summer as we near the Rio Olympics

The 2016 edition of the ‘Olympic’ Nike Air More Uptempo will look like the original release that took place back in 1996 and retro re-release in 2012. The shoe comes dressed in white while blue hits the panels. The large AIR sign sits across the sides of this sneaker, an has the original orange Swoosh on the tongue. Rumor has it they will get a July release date.

Nike Air Foamposite One “USA”

Nike will be releasing a special edition Nike Air Foamposite One “USA” to celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Team USA will be competing for the Gold medal.

The Olympic Nike Foamposite USA will feature an Obsidian, University Red, Metallic Gold and White color scheme. The shoe will feature American Flag used across the insoles.The release date for the ‘Olympic’ Nike Air Foamposite One will take place on July 22nd, 2016 for the Olympic Games.Stay Locked for more pics
