Freehand Profit Releases Tiff SB Grim Reaper Mask no. 123
“Wait, wait, wait… Freehand, I thought you said you don’t use a shoe twice. Haven’t you already made a Nike SB x Diamond Supply mask?” – you say. That is, if you’ve been paying attention.
And you’d be right. My 83rd sneaker mask was a gas mask made from the fondly nicknamed “Tiffany” Dunk Highs (2014 release). When a repeat and valued collector asked if I’d transform his Tiff Lows (2005 release), I knew we were discussing a technicality, a bend or loophole through the creative rules I set for myself and my body of work. I gave it some thought and agreed to it with the stipulation that the Lows would be a mask, but not a gas mask. Splitting hairs? Well, you can see for yourself how similar pairs can be sculpted in entirely different ways. – Freehand Profit
